First-Time Setup

After installation, opening the panel URL shows the setup wizard. It runs once and locks itself afterwards.

  1. Admin account. Create the first administrator. Use a strong, unique password and a real email address (used for notifications and recovery).
  2. Panel URL. Set the public URL players and staff use (for example, https://panel.example.com). This URL appears in emails, invites, and API responses — changing it later is possible but annoying, so get it right now.
  3. Basic settings. Defaults are sane; review them and finish.
  1. Verify login works in a private window (catches cookie/proxy issues early).
  2. Install a node — without one you cannot create servers.
  3. Create roles for staff before inviting people.
  4. Configure backups for the panel database itself.
  • You see the login page instead: setup already completed — sign in.
  • You see an error page: the backend may still be migrating — wait and check container logs. See panel issues.
